My Approach

Therapy that fits you, not the other way around.

There's no one-size-fits-all way to feel better. Here's how I work, and the approaches I draw from to tailor therapy to you.

How I Work

My style is person-centered and relational — I believe connection is at the heart of good therapy. That might look like humor, finding common ground in shared interests, or simply coming up for air together when a session calls for it. I want our work to feel grounded and flexible, not rigid or formulaic.

My approach is also integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and tailor the work to what makes the most sense for you — because no two people (or paths forward) look the same.

Approaches I Draw From

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Making room for difficult feelings instead of fighting them, and taking small, meaningful steps toward what matters most to you.

Attachment Theory

Understanding how your earliest relationships shaped the way you connect today — how safe it feels to get close, trust others, and lean on them — so you can build more secure, supportive relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Noticing the thoughts that fuel anxiety, worry, and self-criticism, and practicing more balanced, helpful ways of thinking and responding.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills

Practical tools for handling intense emotions, stress, and relationships — like grounding, tolerating distress, and asking for what you need.

Mindfulness

Building the ability to pause and notice what's happening in your mind and body, so you can respond rather than react.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Exploring how past experiences and long-standing patterns — often ones we're not fully aware of — shape how you feel and relate to others today.
